So one night after work after I get home I decide to play some x box 360 as any gamer it is a wonderful way to escape the stress and demands of the real world after playing for a while I switched to a movie and found myself waking up after having passed out. I was thirsty when I woke up and decided to get a soft drink from the kitchen when I walked in to the kitchen which lights had been turned off I found myself stopped in my tracks and looking at the center of the kitchen area between the sink and the fridge ,at first glance it seemed as though I could see the shadowy figure of a small boy with him arms open as if wanting a hug or to be lifted, me being the avid investigator that I would like to believe myself to be tried to shake it off and then looked back and figured once my eyes adjusted to the darkness that the shadow would disappear. It did'nt the more I focused the clearer the figure became, Now I am not one to freak out in similar circumstances but at that moment I left the kitchen and ran for my camera to snap a picture. When I headed back to the kitchen, I saw my dog and two of my cats just peering into the kitchen not blinking, my dog began to whine and the cats tail started to wag very quickly. I got in front of them and snapped a picture in the direction that they were looking to no avail, all that was in the picture was the kitchen as usual. The animals though were still very distraught and acting anxious so I decided to go to bed and call it a night.

The next day I brought it up to my girlfriend (who the house has belonged to for a very long time since she was a kid) and she explained to me that that was strange that while growing up she had a wooden art table with an easle on it that she would face towards her bed growing up. She said that every time she would leave the house and come back it would be facing the door about 90 degrees to the left of her bed and sometimes there wood be a faint childs hand print on the easle.

Looks like I may be investigating my own house!

The Ohio Ghost Hunters Mission Statement

 

Our mission is to help people understand that which is of non normal circumstance to investigate and collect as much information about the paranormal and provide that information to the public with out censor. We do not attempt to force belief nor deterr it from those with express personal opinion and belief. We do not attempt to prove nor disprove anything paranormal. We do attempt to understand it and seek resolve in a non invasive methodology. We do not utilize religious belief systems to conjur or exsorcise any form of haunting or paranormal occurence. We seek to provide irrefutable information and evidence that may be inspected by visitors to the site across the country and world. We strive to point out any evidence that may be easily and / or intricately debunked. Our evidence files will always have our theories and opinion and will be stated as such. We do not claim to be skeptics nor believers but open minded to the ideology of that anything is possible. We will not limit our science to faith nor standard but will utilize all scientific fact towards our determinations of evidence, including but not limited to Physical Science, Meta-Physical Science (proven), Quantum science and theory, Energetic etc. We strive to be highly organized with in our society and will have a well established chain of command and surgically executed methodology implemented to our investigations and group. We will never charge for an investigation nor access to any evidence that we find our copy written materials will be available to public use with the lean condition that we recieve credit for thus evidence and or finding to be credited to ohioghosthunters.org. We will conduct every investigation with out bias and all cases will be heard equally with out prejudice. We will be straight forward and will bluntly express our theories and opinions to any person/s that request it. We will use any mean necessary that does not cause conflict of interest with each persons belief systems if there is no way of finding middle ground we will decline any investigation.
